Date of publication: 10 October 2017 Print

Transneft Diascan participated in the Global Energy Efficiency and the Power Industry Development Forum, Russian Energy Week, held on October 3-7, 2017.

Transneft showed mock-ups of in-line diagnostic devices of own manufacture – combined magnetic (MFL+TFI) and magnetic ultra-sound (MFL+WM+CD) defectoscopes at the company’s booth. The devices are one of the unique developments of Transneft Diascan that enable to combine different in-line diagnostic methods and thus ensure efficient operation to detect and measure the pipeline defects.

Transneft Diascan is implementing the energy saving policy adopted at Transneft, in particular, as part of upgrading the diagnostic devices, by reducing the consumed capacity. In three quarters of 2017, the joint-stock company reached the planned reduction in the fuel and energy consumption by 0.5% compared to 2016.
