Transneft Diascan Inspects Almost 64,000 Km of Pipelines in 2020

In 2020, Transneft Diascan has inspected 63,900 km of Transneft trunk pipelines, thus fulfilling the annual diagnostic inspection plan to the full extent.

Over the last year, 54,300 km of oil trunk pipelines (OTP) were diagnosed. Most of the work was carried out at the OTPs of Transneft East (13,000 km), Transneft Siberia (9,800 km) and Transneft Druzhba (5,900 km).

In 2020, in-line inspections of 9,600 km of petroleum products trunk pipelines (PPTP) of Transneft was completed. Most of the work was carried out at the facilities of Transneft Upper Volga (3,000 km), Transneft Baltic (2,900 km) and Transneft Druzhba (1,800 km).

Following the results of the inspection, the condition of the examined facilities was declared satisfactory. The defects detected in the inspection process will be eliminated during scheduled repairs.

Transneft Diascan is the largest Russian supplier providing services of technical diagnostics for pipelines with a diameter of 159 to 1,220 mm (6” - 48”). It carries out work using various types of diagnostic devices of its own production, which allow assessing the technical condition of pipeline transportation facilities and ensuring environmentally safe transportation of hydrocarbons.
