Date of publication: 31 December 2019

Volunteers of Transneft Diascan have conducted the Tree of Wishes voluntary campaign for boarders of the Lukhovitsy social rehabilitation centre for minors (Lukhovitsy, Moscow Region).

27 children created hand-made Christmas decorations with wishes, which were later put on a tree in the hall of the administrative building of Transneft Diascan. Each employee could choose a decoration and fulfill the wish written. About 100 employees of the Company took part in the campaign.

Representatives of Transneft Diascan’s volunteer movement handed over the presents to the children during the New Year party held at the social rehabilitation centre. In addition, an audio system for outdoor events and a modern game console with a set of video games were presented to the centre.

The Lukhovitsy social rehabilitation centre for minors is for preventing social orphanhood, as well as for social rehabilitation of minors in difficult life situations, including orphans and children without parental care. Currently, the institution is home to 27 children aged from 3 to 14 years.

The volunteer campaign was organised as part of the corporate volunteer movement of Transneft and its subsidiaries.
