Transneft Diascan’s Employees Give New Year Presents to Elderly Residents of Social Rehabilitation Centre

Date of publication: 27 December 2018

Employees of Transneft Diascan have organised a volunteer campaign on the threshold of the New Year with the aim to collect gifts for elderly residents of two units of temporary accommodation units at the Lukhovitsy Integrated Social Service Centre in Lukhovitsy Municipal District (Moscow Region).

Over 40 employees of the Enterprise took part in the campaign. Together they collected art supplies and raised funds to purchase two TV sets for the rooms where elderly people with reduced mobility were staying. Enthusiasts of the volunteer movement at Transneft Diascan attended the festive event arranged by the integrated centre, spent some time with its residents and gave them the New Year gifts.

Today, the centre’s units accommodate 30 residents.  They receive all the necessary care and rehabilitation activities there.

The volunteer campaign was held to support the development of the corporate volunteer movement at Transneft and its subsidiaries.
