Transneft Diascan has organised a tour of its operational facilities for students of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation). The event took place as part of implementation of a strategic partnership agreement between Transneft, MGIMO and IIEPD (the International Institute of Energy Policy and Diplomacy) of MGIMO.
The guests were shown how key business units of Transneft Diascan operate, among them the diagnostics shop, the polyurethane production shop and the test facility. In-line inspection tools developed by the Company’s designers aroused particular interest of the visitors.
Such operational tours help students get the most complete picture of their future professional activities.
The strategic partnership agreement between MGIMO, the International Institute for Energy Policy and Diplomacy of MGIMO (the IIEP of MGIMO) and Transneft was concluded in 2013. Within the agreement, Transneft’s base department was established at the IIEP in 2014 to develop human resources and organise targeted preparation for highly qualified specialists for the Company’s international projects.
