From 25 September to 2 October 2015, Transneft Diascan, JSC will carry out preliminary testing of the program on automated generation of pipeline inspection jobs for subsidiaries of the Transneft, JSC system (Transneft subsidiaries). The program is expected to be in commercial operation by the end of the year.
The new software has been developed in the scope of the Action Plan on Improving the Process of Inspection Data Interpretation and Analysis, Updating the Interpretation Technique, Upgrading the Software and Analysis of Pipeline Inspection Gadgets (PIGs).
The program implementation will enable to streamline the duties of the engineering and technical staff responsible for generation and checking of pipeline inspection jobs at Transneft, JSC. The pipeline inspection jobs shall be generated, agreed with the customers, checked, monitored and their completion deadlines shall be notified in automatic mode, which minimizes the impact of human factor on the processes.
After the preliminary testing is finished, it is planned to beta test the developed software from 2 October until 27 November 2015. The acceptance testing and commissioning are scheduled for the period from 27 November until 4 December 2015.
