Occupational Health Management System Audited at Transneft Diascan, JSC

The second inspection audit for compliance of the occupational health management system (OHMS) with BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standard finished at Transneft Diascan, JSC.

Getting a certificate of conformity under this standard means that the company has proper arrangements on mitigating the risk of occurrence of emergencies and accidents, ensures safe and healthy labor conditions, and cuts labor safety costs. The certificate of conformity is issued for three years and must be annually confirmed in the audits.

After inspection in August, 2015, the auditor group from the DQS audit and certification authority confirmed that the occupational health management system of Transneft Diascan, JSC meets the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 international standard, and extended for another year the validity of the company’s certificate issued in 2013. The recertification audit of the OHMS is scheduled for 2016.

The occupational health management system is part of the comprehensive management system at Transneft Diascan, JSC. It is aimed at ensuring safe and healthy labor conditions, safety of production processes and industrial safety, reducing the occurrence rate of occupational injuries and diseases, is based on requirements of the laws and regulations of the Russian Federation in the field of labor safety and on BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standard. OHMS of Transneft Diascan, JSC was introduced in 2007 and certified in 2008.
