In commemoration of the Youth Day employees of Transneft Diascan, JSC, were awarded diplomas of merit from head of the Lukhovitsy municipal district of Moscow Region. Vadim Grigoriev, head of economy department, and Valery Kadakin, lead engineer of the chief metrologist office, were given “Proactive Attitude” awards.
The holiday concert dedicated to the Youth Day in Russia was held in Lukhovitsy on 4 July (Saturday), at a site close to the Start district community center. The celebrations were initially scheduled for 27 June, immediately on the Youth Day, but the event was postponed due to adverse weather.
The holiday guests were congratulated and awarded by Evgeny Kulikov, first deputy head of the Lukhovitsy municipal district, and Gennady Voronin, head of the city of Lukhovitsy.
Valery Kadakin, lead engineer of the chief metrologist office, joined the company in 1993, and has been awarded the honorary title “Labor Veteran of Transneft Diascan, JSC”. He has authored 15+ scitech articles. He has been in charge of sports and mass activities at the enterprise, acts as the permanent captain of the sports team of Transneft Diascan, JSC, prizewinner of the summer and winter Spartakiades among Transneft system entities. He is actively engaged in skiing, annually participates in the popular contests: Moscow Ski Track, Ski Track of Russia, Cross of the Nation, RussiaLoppet ski marathons. In 2011 he climbed the Western top of Elborus (5,642 m) – the highest peak in Europe - and hoisted a flag of Diascan to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the company.
Vadim Grigoriev, head of the economic department, received employment with Transneft Diascan, JSC, immediately after graduation from the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in 2003. In 2003–2010, he chaired the Board of Young Specialists with the company. He regularly attended the youth SciTech conferences at Transneft, JSC. He has been captain of Diascan’s team in Brain Ring game. Headed by Vadim Grigoriev, the team became a 4-time winner (in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2014) and a silver medalist (in 2009) of Brain Ring contest among youths of the district companies and organizations.
