An employee of Transneft Diascan, JSC took a prize in the International Competition of Scientific, Technical, and Innovative Developments in the Fuel and Energy Complex. Yevgeny Yermakov, an electronics engineer of the Chief Designer Department, received a prize for his work entitled «A Mobile Multi-Function Display of Serviceability of Multicore Sealed Cables of Inline Flaw Detectors with the Number of Cores Not Exceeding 60».
This is the first scientific development of the author, and he worked for approximately a year and a half on it. In 2013, this project helped Yevgeny Yermakov win the contest of young specialists of Transneft Diascan, JSC and defend the honor of the company in a similar competition among entities of the Transneft, JSC system.
The International Competition of Scientific, Technical, and Innovative Developments in the Fuel and Energy Complex was held with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and comprised 257 works submitted by 62 companies, which represented seven sectors (oil and gas industry, coal and peat industry, electric power industry, renewable energy industry, pipeline transport industry, nuclear power industry, and mining industry). The entries submitted by Transneft, JSC and its subsidiaries became winners of the first, the second, and the third prizes of the competition.
The awards ceremony will be held on May 19, 2015 in the City of St. Petersburg as part of the 3rd Russian International Energy Forum.
