Transneft Diascan uses primarily domestic components to fabricate their diagnostic tools. For example, their percentage is 78% in a combined magnetic and ultrasonic flaw detector fabricated; by 2020, the percentage will increase to 85%.
It was the return visit of the representatives of the Republic of Belarus as part of extension of collaboration of Transneft Diascan and Belarusian oil transportation enterprises as regards pipelines technical diagnostics.

The combined ultrasonic defectoscope 40-ДКК is targeted at diagnostics of pipelines with diameter 40”, 42” and 48” using WM and CD ultrasonic measuring systems.
Transneft Diascan obtained the certificates of conformity to BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 in 2016 for three years, the certificates are subject to annual confirmation via audit.
This diagnostic complex is a new standard type of the range of DST flaw detectors used by specialists of Transneft Diascan for in-line diagnostics since 2012 and is designed to determine the spatial position of the main pipelines with an external diameter of 16/20”.
The works were performed as part of the integrated programme of diagnostic examination of pipelines and OPS (oil pump stations) facilities of Transneft for 2017.
Issues of joint implementation of concept of the robotized complex for process pipelines pigging were discussed during the meeting.
