The guests were shown inspection devices developed and manufactured by Transneft Diascan: ultrasonic and magnetic defectoscopes as well as a device identifying the pipeline location.
As part of the exposition, models of unique examination complexes produced by Transneft Diascan – combined magnetic (MFL+TFI) and magnetic ultrasonic (MFL+WM+CD) defectoscopes – were presented to the visitors
The participants of the meeting, held as part of the visit, summed up the results of the works in Malaysia, China and Singapore performed by the specialists of Transneft Diascan and discussed marketing strategy and plans for development of future cooperation in the Pacific Rim.
As a part of the exposition, the enterprise demonstrated the mockup models of proprietary inspection devices - ultrasonic defectoscope WM and combined magnetic defectoscope MFL + TFI.
The Certificates “On safety of equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres” provide the opportunity to perform diagnostics of pipelines with diameter 16” and 18” on the territory of Customs Union Member Countries.
Transneft and Sonatrach intend to cooperate in such fields as non-destructive screening and improvement of safety of the pipeline infrastructure operation.
