Transneft Diascan, JSC has obtained a patent for a proprietary ultrasonic in-line defectoscope. The equipment is used for detecting randomly oriented defects.
Yury Lisin, Director General of Transneft R&D, LLC, Sergey Ermish, Director General of Transneft Diascan, JSC, Dmitry Glinkin, Chief Designer of the enterprise, as well as representatives of PJSC “SIBUR Holding” participated in the event, conducted on February 17, 2016.
On February 15, 2016, Transneft Diascan, JSC celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Chief Designer Department (earlier, the In-Line Device Designing Department) of the joint stock company, the company’s key business unit.
Specialists of Ufa branch of Transneft Diascan, JSC will conduct oil trunk pipelines diagnostics in Mexico and Kuwait in February 2016.
The work was carried out in January 2016 using a multichannel BGT tool with 28-PRN (28-ПРН) navigation system, and 28-DMU (28-ДМУ) combined magnetic and ultrasonic defectoscope in its DKU (with combined ultrasonic carrier) and DKM (with magnetic carrier) versions.
The enterprise is represented by Sergey Ermish, Director General. He will visit the PPIM exhibition as member of Transneft, JSC delegation and participate in the conference.
Diagnostic works were conducted as part of the overall program of diagnostic inspection of pipelines and facilities of oil pump stations (OPS) of Transneft, JSC for 2015.
The major part of work was conducted on oil pipelines of Transneft East, LLC (11,668 km), Transneft Volga Region, JSC (7,282 km), and Transneft Siberia, JSC (6,047 km).
Establishing of the structure was caused by implementation of new projects of Transneft, JSC. The subdivision will provide additional control for geodetic measurements at operating facilities and facilities under construction.
The procedure was held by experts of AAC “Analitica” recognized by international accreditation organizations: ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) and APLAC (Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation).
