At the exhibition the enterprise will present models of proprietary in-line inspection devices: a combined magnetic and a combined magnetic and ultrasonic defectoscopes.
The certification was conducted by TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH (Munich, Germany); the procedure consisted of three stages.
Transneft Diascan, the major Russian provider of services for technical inspection of oil pipelines, oil product pipelines, and tanks, has inspected almost one million kilometres of pipelines for a quarter of a century.
Certification took place from February through April 2016 under the supervision of an inspector of the Russian Maritime Registry of Shipping.
The event will be conducted from April 18 to April 21 in Moscow Expocentre as part of the 3rd National Oil and Gas Forum.
As part of the display the enterprise will show combined in-line examination devices: a combined magnetic defectoscope with axial and circumferential magnetization (MFL + TFI) and a combined magnetic ultrasonic defectoscope (MFL+WM+CD); they will be presented as models at the exhibition.
The products of Transneft Diascan are applied in explosive environments, and therefore are subject to the ATEX Directive (EU) that governs the issues related to СЕ marking.
Transneft Diascan, JSC has obtained a patent for a proprietary ultrasonic in-line defectoscope. The equipment is used for detecting randomly oriented defects.

On February 15, 2016, Transneft Diascan, JSC celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Chief Designer Department (earlier, the In-Line Device Designing Department) of the joint stock company, the company’s key business unit.
