By now Transneft Diascan has completed in-line inspection projects in 14 countries. Moreover, in Oman, China and Singapore the Company had never performed inspection before.
All the activities on reducing consumption of fuel and energy resources have been 100% performed, due to which the planned decrease in the indices by 0.5% in comparison with 2016 was achieved.
In comparison with the previous generations, the new geometry tool’s resolving power is 2.5 times higher and it takes interpretation of diagnostic data to the next level.
The enterprise’s employees conducted a workshop on production of wooden bird feedboxes for children from families having many children and low-income families, children with disabilities visiting the integrated centre.
The senior school students visited a diagnostics shop, where they looked at in-line inspection tools, developed by the enterprise’s constructors, listened to the information on their operation principles and characteristics of each type of defectoscopes.
The diagnostic works were performed as part of the integrated programme of diagnostic examination of pipelines and PS (oil pump stations) facilities of Transneft for 2017.
In-line inspection operations were carried out using in-house inspection tools – geometry tools; ultrasound, magnetic, combined magnetic, and combined magnetic-ultrasound defectoscopes, and ultrasound tools for multiangle inspection of the pipe wall.
The software developed by the enterprise’s specialists allows automating the processes of planning, metering and analysis of the test ground’s equipment with natural and artificial defects, as well as optimizing generation of reporting documents on the performed works.
In anticipation of the New Year, Transneft Diascan employees took part in the volunteer action, as part of the Transneft charity marathon “Helping with Good Works”.
The enterprise presented models of in-line inspection tools - ultrasonic defectoscope, combined magnetic and magnetic ultrasonic defectoscopes.
